Ezedify Terms of Use

Welcome to Ezedify. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ezedify website and mobile app (together, the “Service”), provided by Ezedify (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using Ezedify as a student under the age of eighteen, you should have your parent/guardian or school review these Terms with you, since your account is set up as part of your school’s use of the Service.

1. What Ezedify is

Ezedify is an educational platform that lets teachers create and manage classes, exams, assignments, lessons, attendance, and report cards, and lets students join their teacher’s class to complete work and view their own results and feedback.

2. Accounts

• Teachers create their own account and set up their classes.
• Students join a class using a class code provided by their teacher — Ezedify accounts for students are not intended for open public sign-up.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account (e.g., your real name and school), since teachers and students rely on this to identify each other correctly within a class.

3. Acceptable use

When using Ezedify, you agree not to:

• Share your account or class code with anyone not meant to have access to that class
• Submit, upload, or send content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate, particularly given that many users are students
• Attempt to access another user’s account, grades, or private messages without authorization
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose other than teaching and learning

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.

4. Content you submit

• Teachers retain ownership of the exams, assignments, lessons, and other instructional material they create, and grant us a license to store and display that content as needed to operate the Service (e.g., showing an exam to the students enrolled in that teacher’s class).
• Students retain ownership of the answers, written work, and audio recordings they submit, and grant their teacher and Ezedify a license to store, display, and process that work solely for the purpose of grading and providing feedback.
• You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to share it.

5. Grades, feedback, and academic decisions

Ezedify is a tool to help teachers manage and communicate grades and feedback — it does not itself make academic decisions. Any grade, mark, or feedback shown on Ezedify reflects the judgment of the teacher who entered it; Ezedify is not responsible for the accuracy of grading decisions made by a teacher.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep Ezedify available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access — the Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the platform develops.

7. Termination

You may stop using Ezedify at any time, and a teacher or student may request account deletion by contacting us (see Section 9). We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms or for extended inactivity.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Ezedify is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, missed academic deadlines, or grading errors made by a teacher using the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Ezedify’s features evolve. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of Ezedify after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
